PetroSun's most recent press release announced the actual commencement of operations of the first algae-to-biofuel plant. This comes as a bit of a surprise, but a very nice one considering the huge environmental benefits of microalgae biofuel over typical corn, soy and sunflower biofuels. Here are just some of the facts...

New company eliminates the need for precious metal catalysts in hydrogen electrolysis and makes it 85% efficient while producing ten times more than any other. The company has also invented a technique, using nano technology, to increase the catalytic surface area of each electrode, giving them 2,000 times more surface area than its predecessors.

Unfortunately, there are way to many people who are still "undecided" about global warming and weather or not humans play any role in it or not. The longer we wait and stay undecided and ask for more scientific proof (which by the way there is plenty already) the quicker we are getting to the unfortunate results of global warming.

http://www.neutralexistence.com/Reduce-Air-Leaks-And-Energy-Loss.html
When a home is not properly sealed it will experience air leaks (air exchange) which generally causes heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer. Air exchange is responsible for anywhere from 20% to 50% of your homes' heating and cooling cost. By sealing all air leaks in your home you can drastically cut your heating and cooling bills.

A home energy audit is a way of testing your home to assess how much energy your home uses, and how efficient it is in its energy usage. An energy audit will generally alert you to problems in your homes efficiency, and when those problems are fixed correctly, you can save huge amounts of money on your energy bills.

Never before has it been such an opportune time to renovate or modify your home to be more energy efficient. There are a plethora of grants, Federal tax credits, State rebates and buyoff programs, energy-efficient mortgages and even Utility sponsored rebate programs.

A new bill was introduced by Chairman Nick Rahall (D-WV) in the House Natural Resources Committee, which would essentially make it a crime to produce clean electricity from wind turbines. The bill H.R. 2337 is nothing but a clever way to line the pockets of big oil, coal and other fossil fuel related businesses, by taking advantage of honest caring people.
